It’s really interesting to watch this. Grohl and Chad are both good drummers but Peart was so effortlessly powerful whereas these guys look like they’re really working hard to achieve the same level of energy.

I was a freshman in high school when James Gang Rides Again came out. I played it loudly on my stereo, grooving with the toons. I never gave a thought about how they got their name . Jim Fox is a hell of a drummer.

seems to me that Danny's touch on the drum kit is about as close to Neil as I have ever heard...while I love Chad and Dave, their touch just doesn't give me that same feeling as Danny's when listening to Geddie and Alex playing.

Alex Lifeson gotta have one of the smoothest picking hands in the game. He flies through notes and his right hand is just chillin at half time.

I feel like Dave’s drum playing is as recognizable as Slash’s guitar playing. You don’t really need to see who’s playing to figure out who it is. I don’t think anyone has hit the drums that freaking hard since Jon Bonham.
